House cleaning in Loomis, where the property is part of the job
Loomis is semi-rural and it shows indoors. Gravel drives, dirt paddocks, a heavy oak canopy and, in a lot of houses, well water and a septic system. Between them they put more on your floors, your fixtures and your glass than a tract house in town ever sees. That is a different job, and we quote it as one.

What makes a Loomis clean different
The difference out here is not square footage. It is water, ground and trees — three things that decide what we bring, what we can safely use and where the time goes:
- Hard water, visibly. A lot of Loomis homes draw from a well, and that water leaves mineral scale on shower glass, fixtures and tile that general-purpose spray will not shift. Soap scum and everyday buildup are part of every deep and move-out clean; heavy hard-water scale is restoration work we quote from photos.
- Septic, which is worth saying out loud. A septic system runs on bacteria, and the volume of bleach and drain chemicals a city sewer shrugs off is not kind to it. Tell us at the quote and we will note it on your file — if there are products you would rather we used, or avoided, we work to that on every visit.
- Gravel and bare ground. Decomposed granite drives, paddocks and unpaved edges mean grit indoors all year, ground into entry tile, carpet edges and slider tracks. Mudrooms and laundry rooms take the worst of it, and they are where a quick clean cuts corners.
- Oak canopy, most of the year. Pollen in spring, leaf litter in autumn, dry dust through summer. Window sills, blinds and ceiling fan blades load up faster here than anywhere else we work.
- Woodstove season. A house heated with wood carries a fine soot film onto walls, trim and glass over a winter. It shows most on light paint, and it is deep-clean work rather than something a standard visit will lift.
Start with a deep clean, then keep it
On an acreage property, booking a standard clean as the first visit is usually the wrong order. There is a season of outside sitting on the inside, and a standard clean is not scoped to remove it. The order that works:
- 1First visit, deep. Kitchen degreased, buildup off showers and grout, fans and blinds dusted, baseboards, door frames and switch plates wiped down. This is the visit that resets the house.
- 2Then recurring, at whatever interval suits the property. Once a house is level, holding it there is the cheaper half, and visits get shorter rather than longer.
- 3Add the outside edges when you need them. A garage, patio or balcony sweep-out is an add-on, and out here it is the one most often worth having.
- 4Tell us about the animals and the well. Dogs in and out all day, barn boots at the door, a cat that bolts, a well and septic system we should work around — all of it changes where the time goes, and we would rather know before we quote than discover it on the day.
Grout lines are deep-clean and move-out work — a regular clean does not touch them.

Loomis cleaning FAQs
How much does house cleaning cost in Loomis?
We quote per house, because properties out here vary more than anywhere else we serve — bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage and condition all move it. Tell us those and you get a real number up front, and the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
Will you come out this far? There is no travel surcharge, really?
Really. Loomis sits between Rocklin and Granite Bay, both of which we clean regularly, so it is on our normal run rather than a special trip. Same rates as everywhere else we serve.
Can you do anything about the hard-water marks on my shower glass?
Soap scum and everyday buildup come off on every deep and move-out clean. Heavy mineral scale that has been building for years is restoration work rather than cleaning, and we quote that from photos instead of promising it blind. Text a couple of pictures and you will get a straight answer about what will and will not come off.
We are on a septic system. Is that a problem?
No, and it is worth telling us at the quote so it goes on your file. If there are products you would rather we used around a septic system, or avoided, say so when you book and we work to that on every visit — the same way we handle allergies, pets and particular surfaces.
How often should an acreage property be cleaned?
Biweekly suits most, and it is the interval that keeps dust and grit from establishing. Weekly makes sense with several animals indoors or a large house in heavy use; monthly works if you are on top of the day-to-day and want the thorough part handled. Either way, the first visit should be a deep clean.
