House cleaning in Granite Bay, quoted on your house rather than a floor plan

Granite Bay was not built from a catalogue. Most of it went up one house at a time on a large lot, which means no two jobs out here are the same size or the same shape — and an average price would be wrong on nearly all of them. So we quote the house that is actually in front of us.

A one-off house needs a one-off quote

In a master-planned neighborhood a cleaning company can learn three floor plans and know roughly what a job takes. Granite Bay does not work that way, and the things that move the number here are not always the things people expect:

  • Bathrooms before bedrooms. Bathrooms are what takes longest to do properly, so they move a quote further than bedroom count does. Four or five of them is ordinary in this housing stock.
  • Square footage spread sideways. A single-storey home on a big footprint means long runs of floor, more exterior doors and more rooms off the patio than a two-storey of the same size. More ground to cover, not less.
  • The lot comes indoors. Large lots, mature oaks and pools mean pollen, leaf litter and dust arriving at the back door most of the year. Entryways, sliders and their tracks, and the rooms nearest the patio carry it.
  • Lake season is a season. Folsom Lake is minutes away, and summer walks sand, wet towels and lake water through the house in a way the other nine months do not.
  • Mixed-era finishes in one house. A custom build that has been remodelled twice can have slab granite in the kitchen, original tile in a hall bath and newer hardwood between them. Each wants a different product, and the wrong one dulls or etches permanently.
Where we clean in Granite Bay: Treelake, Los Lagos, Hidden Lakes, Wexford, the neighborhoods off Douglas Boulevard and Auburn-Folsom Road, and homes out toward the Folsom Lake shoreline.

Most people here have had a cleaner before

When a Granite Bay household calls us, price is rarely what went wrong last time. It is that the standard drifted, or the person changed every visit and nothing about the house was remembered. That is the part we set up deliberately:

  • Your house has a file, and the file gets read. The product you want kept off the marble, the room that stays shut, the dog that bolts for an open door, the guest bath nobody uses — noted once, and read before the next visit rather than rediscovered.
  • Consistency, aimed for and honestly described. We aim to keep the same cleaner on your home, because someone who knows it does a better job in less time. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, whoever covers works from that same detailed checklist, so the standard holds even when the face changes.
  • Vetted before they are ever in your house alone. Every cleaner on our roster is interviewed and trialled on a real paid job before working unsupervised. We carry $2M/$2M general liability and a $25K janitorial bond, and a certificate of insurance is available on request.
  • You do not need to be home. Many of our Granite Bay clients are not. Tell us how you would like us to get in, and the work and the photo record are the same either way.

Before-and-after photos are part of every job, not an upsell — which is the simplest answer to what was or was not done while you were out.

Granite Bay cleaning FAQs

How much does house cleaning cost in Granite Bay?

There is no honest published rate for this city, which is why we do not publish one. Houses here range from comfortable to very large, and the quote follows bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage and condition. Tell us those and you get a real number before we start, not a range that moves on the day.

Will you use the right products on stone, hardwood and glass?

Yes. Natural stone gets pH-neutral products only — no acidic or vinegar-based cleaners, which etch marble and travertine permanently — hardwood gets minimal moisture, and glass and stainless are finished dry so they do not spot or streak. Point out anything you are particular about on the first visit and it goes on your file for every clean after.

Do you charge extra for Placer County?

No. Granite Bay is in our regular service area and pays the same rates as everywhere else we serve, with no travel surcharge.

Can you clean a pool house, casita or guest house too?

Yes, as part of the same visit, but it is quoted as the extra space it is rather than folded in for free. Tell us about it when you ask for the quote so the number you get is the number you pay. A garage, patio or balcony sweep-out is a separate add-on.

How often do larger Granite Bay homes usually book?

Biweekly is the most common and usually the most economical per square foot. Weekly makes sense for busy households with kids or pets; monthly works if the house is lightly used between visits. Most start with a deep clean and then settle into a rhythm.
