Cleaning questions, answered straight
What it costs, what is included, who is coming into your home, and what happens if something is not right. If your question is not here, call and ask us.
Booking and getting started
The practical stuff — how to get a price, how quickly we can come, and what happens first.
How do I get a quote or book a cleaning?
It takes about two minutes. Use the quote request form, or call or text us at (916) 249-2215. Quotes are free, there is no obligation, and there is no contract to sign afterwards.
How far ahead should I book?
The earlier the better, particularly for move-outs and weekend slots. If you have a hard deadline — a lease handover, a property inspection, guests arriving — tell us the date when you first get in touch rather than after booking, because that is what determines whether we can take it.
What happens on the first visit?
We confirm what matters most to you, walk the space, and get to work on the agreed checklist. If your home has not had a thorough clean in a while, we will usually recommend starting with a deep clean — it brings every room to baseline, which is what keeps every visit after that quick and at the recurring rate.
Do I need to be home?
No. Many clients let us in and get on with their day, or arrange access another way. We just need a way in at the start and a way to lock up at the end.
Do I need to tidy up before you arrive?
No — cleaning around your life is the job. That said, clearing surfaces of personal items means we spend the time cleaning rather than moving things, so you get more out of the visit. Never feel you have to tidy for us.
Is there a contract?
No. Book once or book regularly. Recurring service can be paused, rescheduled or stopped whenever you need — we would rather earn the next visit than lock you into one.
Pricing and payment
Every price is quoted for your actual home. The one thing that never changes: the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
How much does cleaning cost?
Every job is quoted rather than sold off a rate card, because the size and condition of the space move the number more than anything else. From lowest to highest per visit: recurring, then Airbnb turnovers, then standard, then deep, then move-out — a move-out covers every interior in an empty home, which is why it sits at the top. Commercial is quoted per site after a free walkthrough. See how pricing works, or request a quote and you’ll have a real number back quickly.
Why do you quote instead of listing one flat price?
Because a flat price is either too high for a small home or too low for a large one, and the second kind gets "corrected" on the day. We would rather spend two minutes getting it right. Bathrooms move the number more than bedrooms do — they simply take longest to do properly.
Do you charge more for certain cities?
No. Every city in our service area pays the same rates. There is no travel surcharge for Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Davis, El Dorado Hills or anywhere else we serve — your price is based on the space, not the drive.
How do I pay?
Card or Zelle. You get your total up front in the quote, so there is no deposit surprise and nothing added after the clean.
Is there a deposit?
A small deposit locks in your booking and applies to your total — you never pay extra for reserving the spot.
Do you tip?
Tips are never expected and never built into the price. If a cleaner did work you want to recognise, they are always welcome — but the quote already pays them properly.
What is included
What we actually do, what we bring, and where the limits are.
What types of cleaning do you offer?
Standard and deep cleans, move-in and move-out cleans, recurring weekly, biweekly or monthly service, Airbnb and vacation-rental turnovers, unit turns for property managers, and office and commercial cleaning. Homes, apartments and workplaces are all welcome.
What's included in a house cleaning?
A standard clean covers dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, sanitising kitchens and bathrooms, wiping countertops and fixtures, and emptying trash across all living areas. Baseboards, door frames and trim are spot-dusted as part of the room, blinds get a light dusting and grout a wipe-down. Inside the oven, fridge, cabinets and microwave, interior window glass and slider tracks are add-ons — ask for them on your quote request and they are priced in before we start. On a move-out clean those interiors are included.
What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?
A standard clean maintains a home that is already at a reasonable baseline. A deep clean creates that baseline — degreased kitchens, soap scum and everyday buildup off showers and grout, ceiling fans and vents, blinds dusted, and under and behind what can be safely moved. Trim is spot-dusted on both; hand-wiping it throughout is a quoted add-on on a deep clean and included on a move-out. If it has been more than a few months since a thorough clean, start deep and then maintain.
Do your cleaners bring their own supplies and equipment?
Yes — our cleaners arrive with professional-grade supplies and equipment on every single visit. If you would prefer we use specific products in your home, for allergies, pets or particular surfaces, tell us when you book and we will accommodate it.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes. Let us know about your pets when you book — including anything we should be careful about, like a cat that bolts for an open door — and if you would like us to use a particular product around them, we will. Pets add a little time to a clean, and we account for that in the quote.
Do you clean carpets?
We vacuum carpets thoroughly on every clean, but we do not offer carpet cleaning beyond vacuuming — no shampooing or extraction — at the moment. That is a separate trade with its own equipment, and we would rather tell you straight than take on work outside what we do well. If your lease requires professional carpet cleaning, book a carpet specialist alongside us and we will work around their schedule.
What do you not do?
Carpet cleaning beyond vacuuming, exterior windows above the ground floor, anything beyond safe step-ladder reach, moving heavy furniture, junk hauling, pest control, mould remediation and biohazard cleaning. We will tell you up front rather than after taking the booking, and where we can we will point you to someone who does.

Trust, insurance and the guarantee
Fair questions to ask anyone you are handing a key to.
Can I trust the cleaner coming into my home?
Every cleaner on our roster is interviewed and trialled on a real paid job before they work unsupervised in your home, we carry $2M/$2M general liability insurance and a $25K janitorial bond, and we document our work with before-and-after photos so you can see exactly what was done. Your home and your trust are the whole business.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold Sacramento County business licenses (GNB32026-02293 · SPB12026-00578), carry $2M per occurrence / $2M aggregate general liability insurance on every job, and carry a $25K janitorial bond. A certificate of insurance is available on request, and we are happy to name property managers as additional insured.
What if something gets damaged?
Tell us straight away. That is exactly what the liability insurance is for, and the before-and-after photos we take on every job mean there is a factual record rather than an argument about what happened.
What if I am not satisfied with the clean?
If anything’s missed, tell us within 24 hours — we come back and touch it up free. That is the 24-hour touch-up guarantee — the promise our terms actually back, with no form to fill in and no negotiation about it.
Will I get the same cleaner every time?
We aim for consistency on recurring service, because someone who knows your home does a better job in less time. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, whoever covers works from the same detailed checklist for your home, so the standard does not drift.
Do you send proof the work was done?
Yes. Before-and-after photos are part of every job, not an upsell — useful if you were not home, and genuinely valuable if a landlord or property manager ever questions the condition a place was left in.
Recurring cleaning
Do you offer recurring cleaning plans?
We do — weekly, biweekly or monthly. Recurring plans are our lowest per-visit price and hold the same standard every time. Tell us the schedule you want and we’ll quote it.
How often should I book?
Biweekly suits most households. Weekly makes sense for larger homes, or homes with kids and pets in the mix. Monthly works well if you keep on top of day-to-day tidying and want the thorough part handled for you.
Can I skip or reschedule a visit?
Yes. Life happens — travel, illness, a week where it just is not convenient. Give us as much notice as you reasonably can and we will move it. There is no penalty and no contract holding you in.
Does recurring service really cost less?
Yes, and for a straightforward reason: a home that never falls behind takes less time to clean. That is why the recurring rate is lower per visit than a one-time clean, and why starting with a deep clean and then maintaining is the cheapest long-run path for most homes.
Move-outs, rentals and property managers
Can a move-out clean guarantee my deposit?
A proper move-out clean removes the cleaning-related deductions, which are usually the largest avoidable part of a deposit dispute. It cannot fix damage, wear or anything structural, and we will not pretend otherwise. What you get is the work done to inspection standard plus photographic evidence of the condition we left it in.
What does a move-out clean include that a standard clean does not?
Every interior. On a move-out clean, inside the oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, inside every cabinet, drawer and closet, hand-wiped trim and the slider tracks are all included — the home just needs to be empty. On standard and deep cleans those are quoted add-ons. Full details are on the move-out page.
Do you work with landlords and property managers on multiple units?
Yes, and it suits how we already work — a consistent checklist, photo documentation on every unit and one point of contact. If you run regular turnovers, call and tell us roughly how many a month and we will plan the schedule instead of squeezing you in. See how we work with property managers — COI with additional insured, photo reports per unit and ACH invoicing.
Can you meet a hard handover deadline?
Usually, if we know about it early. Turnover windows are tight and slots fill in the order they are asked for, so call with a rough date rather than waiting for an exact one — especially in Davis during lease-turnover season and in Rancho Cordova, where turnover volume is highest.
Service areas
What areas do you serve?
The greater Sacramento area, including Sacramento, Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks and Davis. Not sure whether you are in our zone? Call or text (916) 249-2215 and we will tell you straight. Full list on the service areas page.
My city is not on the list — can you still come?
Possibly. We are growing across the region, and the answer depends on where exactly you are. Call or text and you will get a straight yes or no rather than being strung along.
Do you clean businesses everywhere too, or just homes?
Both, across the whole service area. Commercial cleaning is quoted per site after a free walkthrough, scheduled around your business hours rather than through them.
Still have a question?
Call or text and you will get a real answer from a real person — including an honest no if we are not the right fit for the job.
